A 26-year-old homeless man, Markeese Brazelis, has been arrested for pushing a 23-year-old woman onto the tracks of a moving A train at the 168th Street station in Manhattan. During his arraignment, Brazelis admitted to the act, stating he was "high and mad" and did it "because I wanted to." This incident marks his third arrest in the subway system within just over a week. Previously, he was arrested for unauthorized entry at the Bergen Street station and for inappropriate conduct towards another woman. Prosecutors argue that Brazelis poses a public danger due to his repeated offenses. The victim sustained bruises and abrasions and has urged New Yorkers to remain vigilant.

A terrifying home invasion occurred in Caldwell, Essex County, New Jersey, where a group of burglars broke into a home early Sunday morning, around 5:30 a.m. The suspects, possibly four individuals, were after the key fob for a high-end vehicle parked in the driveway. They attempted to break into the house through a side door, then tried the front before using a crowbar to break in through a window. The homeowners, who were inside, were woken by the noise and confronted one of the suspects, causing them to flee. Police were called to the scene, and another home in the same neighborhood was also targeted shortly after. The burglars were masked and gloved, making identification difficult. Authorities are warning residents to secure their homes.
